Design International, talking about the new Frontier's bold and aggressive
design that makes a styling statement that says "Get out of my way." That
statement refers strictly to styling, spoken by a designer, and is not
intended in any way to be an endorsement of aggressive, unsafe or illegal
driving. We're sorry that the ad offended you and some of your listeners.
We did not intend for that to happen, and are a bit surprised that it was
interpreted that way.
The ad has completed its national run, but may run again in select regions.
While we respect your position on this matter, we do not feel the vast
majority of viewers share your view that the ad conveys a message that
encourages unsafe driving.
