Here are the latest (Year 2000) tabulated results of the data collected from
over 95,000 visitors to our web site over the past 12 months. Under the
supervision of our crack researcher, Paul Murky and his able assistant, Marge
Innovera we have assembled a plethora of interesting stuff. (Don't you love
the juxtaposition of plethora and stuff?) If your vehicle isn't listed,
it's because we need more respondents in order to make the findings
"statistically significant" as Murky says. Or not "complete doggie doo," as
Raymond says. So if you haven't completed the survey in the past 12 months,
please do it now (it takes about 10 minutes). Thanks.
Here's what we've got:
 |
Repair Costs: Enter the make and model of the car you're interested in
and see how the costs of repair and maintenance compare to other vehicles.
Also, you can see how these costs vary as your vehicle gets older.
(Contrary to popular belief, repair costs do not increase forever --
ultimately reaching NASA proportions.)

 |
Demographics: What are the demographics of other people who drive the
same car as you? Are you a misfit? Not old enough? Too educated? Check
out Demographics. |
 |
Owner Satisfaction and Comments: These charts tell it all. Who would
buy the same vehicle if they had it to do all over again? Are they
satisfied with the dealer network? Some surprising results! In addition
to the tons of numbers, thousands of respondents offered commentary on their
ownership experiences. Fascinating reading. |
